Q1. Why Organic Henna?

Unlike traditional henna cones, organic henna is free of any artificial chemicals or dyes. This means that it has a lesser chance of having reactions on the skin. Organic henna also stays on the skin longer vs. artificial henna.

Q2. How long would the henna stay on my hands?

Based on how long you let it stay on when applied and also how much care you take. It can stay on you hands anywhere from 5 to 10 days.

Q3. Can I consult about my henna needs with you?

For sure. I offer 100% FREE 10 minute henna phone consultancy session, for to-be brides. No strings attached. I will give you all the info, you decide on the best design and artist for you.

Q4. Do you charge on an hourly or per hand basis?

Depends on the client's need and pocket.

Q5. How long before the actual event should I book my appointment?

Organic henna takes 24 hours to get full colour, so you should Ideally book me 1-2 days before the event.

Q6. Are all the designs on this website, done by you?

Yes, unlike amateur "Heena Artists" who copy paste pictures off the Internet. All the artwork you see here & on my social media pages have been done by me and me alone.

Q7. Do you have other team members?

Yes, based on the need of the client I can arrange other team members.

Q8. Why are you charging so much? I have a much competitive quote from someone else.

Not all henna artists are made the same. There are a lot of amateurs out there who are not proper artists. Others use cheap chemical hennas, which puts you at risk. There are also some artists who will quote you one price and then embarrass you in front of your guests by asking for something else. I am a thorough professional who works like family. 80% of my business comes from repeat clients and my business model is such that I am not looking for your lifetime business, not a one-and-done deal.

Q9. Why don't you use black henna?

There is no such thing as black-coloured henna. The jet black colour is achieved from a chemical ingredient added to the paste: A coal-tar dye called "PPD" or para-Phenylendiamine. It is absorbed into your skin, enters your blood stream, and in turn passes through your kidneys and liver. People have had extreme reactions and lifelong damage.

The chemical burn caused by PPD causes the skin to blister, swell and itch. You can have a permanently scar. You can also develop allergies to other things, even if you use it once.

Every single application of "black henna" affects you - the toxins stay in your body for the rest of your life.

Q10. Where do you get your henna cones from?

I get all of my cones from Stain Organic henna art (www.stainhennaart.com). One cone is worth $7, so you know you are getting the very best quality henna. Always ask the artists where they are getting their henna cones from.

Q11. Are you available on a certain date?

Send me an email or call me. I have a busy schedule but I would love to fit you in.

Q12. How do I book you?

After you have chatted with me and I have given you the go ahead to send me the deposit. I will then confirm your booking, that's it. You're done.

Q13. Do you need advance payment?

Yes I do, but not 100%. I do ask for a small amount to protect you, so that I do not take any booking in your time slot.

Q14. Are you available at your home to do some simple designs for me for a festival?

Yes I am. Email or call me for my availability.
